Latest Painting

So i have finally completed my unit of 18 thegns for WaC. Happy with them so far. The miniatures are a mix of Crusader and Foundry.
Been chatting to Rob and he seems happy for me to play at the WaC tourney at Devizes (Attack!), so now gonna see weather i can get the time off to get up to it, but probably wont know till after the May  bank holidays ... fingers crossed.

Also i have done a quick video discussing a great youtube channel, the Historyden. Some excellent inspiration for battles and some great knowledge.

Batch of Battle Reports

So I have a few battle reports to get up, after an all day club session. First up is my SAGA game form the previous week with the Pillage scenario.

Then I have a Bolt Action game as part of the clubs Gaming league. This was a Point Defense mission, with my Germans against the British

Finally I have a new Sci-fi system we're playing called Dropzone Commander, well worth the look...

Until next time!

SAGA: Anglo-danes vs Anglo-saxons.

So i am starting to try out my alternative Saxon force. To start with i have a couple of Pillage scenarios. So far i think the choice may well work, though  a Warlord Adviser will be a must. Now to find and appropriate model.

My Youtube channel give-away

So things have been busy. As most of you know i am a Dark Age re-enactor so my time is often split across my hobbies. But i have finally completed a basic ruined building video, ideal for skirmish games like Mordheim and Bolt Action.

Also i have prize to give-away to lucky channel follower when i have reached 300 subscribers. So please share about and help the channel grow. This ain't a monetized channel, so this is for fun to say thanks for the support.

I know my channel seems awkward to many as i cover a variety of games instead of sticking to a single system, so is often hard for some to follow... so its to show i really appreciate the support.

Finally, i have got my mits on another system. This time from Mantic Games but more on that soon...
