Celts Roundhouse

  Still been hectic at work and my list of items to paint only seem to grow. At the club we have been giving Warhammer 40k: Kill Team a go and its not bad. For a quick game using our existing mini's it plays ok, but the rules aren't the most exciting.   Hopefully soon we will try a little campaign and add in the experience part of it, to see what happens. I have actually gone out and brought a White Dwarf magazine, something i haven't brought since the early 2000's. But it has rules for a Kroot kill team and i'd thought it would be fun to dig my old mini's and get some paint on them. These guys are some of my favourite GW miniatures.   I have also got some new Batreps up, including a SAGA one. I know its been a while, but the club is looking at running an event in March. Hey folks,                 Apologies for a quiet month, but it has been the a busy Christmas month. I had hoped to do at least one update, but the stuff i had been painting recently had to be on the quiet due to the Lord of the Rings siege game, where players tend to keep what their using hidden until set up. Lots of photo's for this one!   But i can now show these guys have been painted:     Next up is two more club events games: Click here for Lotr Batrep Click here for DBA Batrep   Finally, we finished the year out with our Siege game. It was great fun, with the game taking about 8 1/2hrs to complete. A great way to finish the year!   It ended with a good guy victory, after the enemy central village was taken. Enabling good guys to build siege ladders to attack the enemy castle. Well that's it for now, till next time
