So the SAGA rules i have been working on seem to be fun, as we attempt a "Battle of Barons". The game has two players on either side each with a walled keep. I have a small overview at the beginning of my latest battle report.
Below is the link to my latest SAGA battle report. Click here for Battle Report I have also been working on more Saxons so i can change around my Anglo-Saxon list a bit. Currently i'm painting some mailed Saxons to represent my warriors to separate them from my levy. So far i have one unit. They are all Crusader miniatures.
So i am starting to try out my alternative Saxon force. To start with i have a couple of Pillage scenarios. So far i think the choice may well work, though a Warlord Adviser will be a must. Now to find and appropriate model. Click here for Battle Report
So i have finally completed my unit of 18 thegns for WaC. Happy with them so far. The miniatures are a mix of Crusader and Foundry. Been chatting to Rob and he seems happy for me to play at the WaC tourney at Devizes (Attack!), so now gonna see weather i can get the time off to get up to it, but probably wont know till after the May bank holidays ... fingers crossed. Also i have done a quick video discussing a great youtube channel, the Historyden. Some excellent inspiration for battles and some great knowledge. Click here for for video
